Sweet Jane, my Angus Cow teaches everyone who comes to our ranch about compassion. Once you look into her big beautiful brown eyes you will be overwhelmed by her love. Jane was an orphaned calf that needed a loving home and we took her in with open arms. She was tiny, actually fit into a dog crate and she followed me around like a puppy. I bottlefed Jane for close to 6 months, she was free to roam our ranch (sometimes wandering into our studio!) for close to a year until she started eating our rose bushes... we moved her in with our goats where she fell head over heels in love with Henry. Who would have ever thought a cow and a goat falling in love and being best friends?? Jane comes running to me when I call her name, she loves carrots,granola bars and watermelon and her favorite pastime is to hang out under the pepper trees.

It's really all about our choices... For me, organic is not just a trend or fad but a way of life. I feel it is a "choice" we all need to make at sometime in our lives ~ living on this planet, I see no other option. Oceans, land and the air is polluted, animals become deformed that live near pesticide crops, farmers get cancer... it goes on and on and the very sad part is pesticides are everywhere. They do so much harm and so little good. I sometimes can't wrap my brain around the sadness that fills our world but I keep the faith that we can contribute in our own way ~ by purchasing organics -- food, clothing, cleaning products, dog food, etc... If we all work together we can do it. I can't really pinpoint a time when I realized how important it is to be a part of the solution instead of part of the problem but since then I have felt healthier and happier. I hope organics become part of your life too. For the people who do fill their lives with organics I thank you, I honor you ~ my children thank you, my animals thank you, generations thank you. I heard someone say once "the money you spend on organics now will save you in hospital bills later on". Lets all join together and choose HEALTH for the rest of our time on Earth.

I have always been a huge animal lover, I have rescued hundreds and know what it takes to heal abused, abandoned and injured animals so when I advocate a non-profit like The California Wildlife Center I back it with all my heart. The CWC has rescued over 25,000 animals and I love everyone involved with this amazing group. I designed my "Coexist" talisman after touring the CWC facility and hearing the board members main concerns and needs which are... to sum it up... We all need to COEXIST with wildlife.
What would our planet be like without crows, bluebirds, owls, dolphins, bears, fox, coyotes, seals, butterflies and all other wildlife? I believe it is NOW, it is time to listen to your heart, to be still in the space of compassion and take time to care for more than ourselves. Wildlife is vital to the heartbeat in all of us. Last night I gazed up in the big black sky and watched the stars sparkle and I wondered if the bears and mountain lions also enjoyed the quiet and magic of the stars too, I felt it was in that space of wonderment that we all have a connection - the quietness of magic. It is in all of us, wildlife just taps into it... always.

Our Massive Summer Sale has started and we are in full swing now! It was a bumpy start... as many of you know our site crashed quite a few times because of the incredible response (which was amazing and we are very thankful) but our server could not handle that many people on our site at once so... our web wizard fixed it and we are happily selling our jewelry at amazing prices. We are getting ready to launch an entirely NEW website in the next month or so and we are making room for all of our NEW collections. We have had many customers want to purchase items previously "sold" in this sale and luckily we have been able to accommodate most inquiries - please do not hesitate to call our studio as we sometimes have similar pieces in our behind the scenes stock.
