Jes & Patrick – A Marriage of Soul & Design
An Imaginative Fusion of Whimsy folk art, and Recycled and Upcycled furniture
Every great fire needs fuel by which to burn… Jes & Patrick struck a match when they found each other as college friends, artistic comrades, business partners, husband and wife and finally parents. A born visionary and empath, Jes’s unstoppable creative drive and limitless compassion are anchored by Patrick’s light-hearted sensibilities, loyalty and unyielding support.
Fusing Jes’s Free Spirit with Patrick’s artistic skills as a precision metalsmith – Jes’s artwork leaps off the page and into hearts and homes. Using cold rolled, recycled steel, Patrick recreates Jes’s charming characterizations; each one is then hand painted by Jes and her team of artisans, and many accessorized with her signature inspirational charms, ethically sourced gemstones, and ancient glass trade beads.
Patrick is the husband of Jes, the Father of their three children and an avid backpacker, bike rider and surfer. He is known to make one of a kind furniture pieces, often using antique motor cycle parts, found objects, forged steel and ethically sourced and plained wood from fallen tree’s in Oregon. His work reflects a clean lined, sensible yet rugged feel. His furniture collection as well as his client list is growing quickly as he specializes in custom work ranging from lamps to tables to bar stools. You can see one of the magical tables that he and Jes designed in the Sundance Catalog.
Jes and Patrick are together inspired by the natural beauty that surrounds her California home and are passionate about using only recycled and upcycled metal.
Entirely handmade with love and honor in Sunny California, USA.
